About Us
The Merivale Kip McGrath Education Centre was established in 1992 to offer private tuition to children in the Northern suburbs of Christchurch. It is the oldest and largest centre in Christchurch.
The current owners are Stuart and Val Atkinson who bought the Centre in 1996. Stuart is a former secondary principal who has taught for over 30 years. Val and Stuart live locally.
Our Educational Team
The Merivale Kip McGrath Education Centre’s tutors are an exceptional team who provide caring support to all students - from those needing extra Maths tutoring to students wanting to push themselves a little harder with our Extension Programmes. All the Centre’s tutors are hand-picked and are fully qualified.
